My approach to counselling is empathetic, thoughtful, and curious. I strive to create space for clients to be heard and understood. My journey to counselling was inspired by personal experiences as an immigrant to Canada in my teens. Despite feeling grateful for my new home, adjusting to a different culture was not easy. I found counselling invaluable in my journey as it allows me to learn and grow continuously.

With a background in teaching at post-secondary institutions, I have experience working with young adults facing academic difficulties. Additionally, I have served as a crisis center responder for many years, offering emotional support and non-judgemental listening to individuals from diverse backgrounds.

I value inclusivity, non-judgement, understanding, and kindness in my work and welcome diverse clients of all cultures, ages, gender, sexual orientations and abilities. In my free time, I enjoy playing ultimate frisbee, hiking, reading and spending time with friends, family, and dogs (I have never met a dog I didn’t make friends with!).
