We face many challenges in our lives. We can navigate these challenges together to support you towards your growth and healing. As an Indian Canadian immigrant, I understand the struggles parents, youth, and families face when settling in a new country. We can work together to overcome the emotional and practical challenges related with immigration and settlement. I offer counselling in Hindi and Punjabi for clients from the South Asian and Desi community. But my services are available to all clients facing migration or culture-based challenges.
In my life, I have experienced the health emergencies and loss of family members and friends. I empathize with the complex feelings of loss. We can process the feelings of grief together and find a way to live life after loss.
I provide a safe space for you to talk about your struggles and for us to collaborate on how to resolve, resist, or accept these struggles. My approach to therapy combines narrative therapy with feminist therapy. Through these approaches, I want to learn your life stories and the social-cultural stories that guide our lives.
